Decorating for Christmas

Today we decorated for Christmas (we always do it the day after Thanksgiving).  Mackenzie had fun helping and Izzie really enjoyed the decorations.

Happy Birthday Mackenzie

On Thanksgiving we celebrated Mackenzie's birthday with Jason's family.  She chose a Bolt cupcake cake.  Tomorrow for her actual birthday she is going to get a makeover at Libby Lu.

Changing every day

Izzie just found out how much she likes donuts.  It just amazes me how fast she is growing up.

Here Scooby, let me help you hold that.

Peek-A-Boo

What could be better than....

the sound of a baby's laugh???

Trick or Treat

Mackenzie had a party at preschool on Halloween and because of my wonderful new job, I was able to go.  I brought Izzie in her costume so everybody could see her too.  They did a parade around the school and then had pinatas for the kids.  After I was done working we went trick or treating.  Izzie hung out great and Mackenzie had such a good time.  It was such a beautiful day, she didn't even need a sweater.  After we were done trick or treating, we sat on the front porch to give out candy.  Mackenzie held the bowl for the kids as they came by.

Little helper

Don't you love it when your kids get old enough to help?  Mackenzie has a new found passion for vacuuming.  She loves it.  She actually got upset the other day because she thought that she wasn't going to get to vacuum.  Have I mentioned that she loves washing windows?

Girls Weekend

A couple of weeks' ago the girls and I went to Michigan with a friend to her lake house.  We had so much fun.  We missed being with Jason, but it was nice to get away.

Jason's Birthday

On October 19, Jason turned 31.  It was not a great birthday because we had to travel back from Kansas City and who wants to spend their birthday traveling, but we did go out to dinner with his parents and we got him a cake.  Happy birthday anyway!
